Course Highlights

The Orange Card Concession Course covers essential topics such as:

Temporary Power Framework: Understand the basics of setting up temporary power safely.

Planning For an Event Site: Learn how to effectively plan and manage power distribution at event sites.

Concessions come in many forms: marquees, food stalls, rides, food vehicles, and more. They can be operated just about anywhere – indoors or outdoors, in small and large venues.

Most concessions require electrical power, and at the majority of events, the arrangement for power is usually temporary. For concession workers and event visitors, the electrical risks are significant, so much so that industry regulators refer to events as hostile environments.

Our program will give you a practical understanding of all the elements that make up a temporary power environment and what you need to know to run a safe and efficient concession.
